| Ximena Navarette, Miss Mexico 2010 and the current Miss Universe 2010,crowning her successor, Miss Karin Ontiveros |
Nuestra Belleza Mexico, also known as Miss Mexico crowned 22-year old, 1.80m tall industrial design student from CUAAD University, Karin Cecilia Ontiveros Meza as Miss Mexico 2010 last September 25, 2010 at Parque de las Maravillas in Saltillo, Coahuila. Karin Ontiveros vied for the title over 30 young and vibrant women from all over the country. She was the third consecutive winner from Jalisco, and fourth in the pageant's history. She is going to represent her country to Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Sau Paolo, Brazil, with high hopes of bringing home the crown. Nearly all pageant enthusiasts believed that she is going to make the final cut knowing that she really has the wit, beauty and determination.
Cynthia Alejandra de la Vega Oates, Miss Nuevo Leon, was crowned as Nuestra Belliza Mundo Mexico 2011, and is going to represent the country to Miss World 2011.
Miss Aguascalientes, Gabriela Palacio Diaz de Leon, was named Nuestra Belleza Suplente who already competed at the Miss International 2010 pageant at Chengdu, China last November 7. Unfortunately, she failed to make it to the top.

I personally love this girl. She's what, for example,I don't see in the previous Mexican representatives at Miss Universe,except of Ximena Navarrete and Elisa Najera,: a mixture. A mixture of beauty,elegance and great stage presence. Many people believe that her beauty would fit more in Miss World. My point is: Are you kidding? Another back to back won't happen in only 4 years but, I definitely see her being an eventual finalist. Karin is for me the true frontrunner from Americas. "
